Content Specialist (Part Time)

Credo has an immediate opening for a contract Content Promotion Specialist with experience in digital marketing to join our team on a part-time basis.

About Credo

We are a leading website in the agency hiring space online. Founded by entrepreneur, digital growth specialist, and SEO industry veteran John Doherty in 2013, Credo has helped over 6,000+ companies in their search for the right marketing agency partner. We’re just getting started as a small remote team with headquarters in Denver Colorado.

Job duties include:

• Promote content produced by specific writers and Credo’s founder to increase traffic and visibility.
• Responsible for uploading weekly content to promote across various social media websites.
• Execute whitehat promotion strategies to increase the number of backlinks to Credo with the goal of increasing organic traffic.
• Use various link outreach techniques – broken link building, community roundups, link partnerships, podcast appearances, etc. to drive Credo’s growth.

*Please note there is also potential to create content for Credo’s blog and build your name in the marketing industry for the right candidate. This role would also be perfect for someone looking to hone their skills as a PR specialist*

Requirements

Please apply if you have the following experience and it sounds like you.

• Previous experience with content marketing and promotion via social media. SEO knowledge is a plus, but not required. Required 1- 3 years of relevant experience.
• Above-average writing skills.
• Experience with cold emailing and/or outreach emails.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to write professionally and authoritatively.
• Self-motivated and professional.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Are US-based

A few of the tools we use on a daily basis include Semrush, Hunter.io, LinkedIn, WordPress, and Buffer.

Hours: 8-12 hours a week in any time zone that works for the candidate. Must overlap one day a week from 10a-12p Mountain Time.

THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE ROLE.This is a 1099 contractor role.

Pay range $20-$35/hr depending on experience and scope.
